Arsenal Under Review by FIFA
The BBC is reporting that Arsenal is currently being investigated by FIFA for allegedly making illegal payments to the Belgium football club Beveren.
In essence, the allegations say that Arsenal secretly controlled Beveren, which has been dumping their domestic players and bringing in players from academies in the Ivory Coast – players like Emmanuel Eboue.
If the allegations that Arsenal controlled Beveren are true, they would be in breach of FIFA rules and could face heavy fines or be thrown out of the Champions League.
