Is Chelsea the new Real Madrid?
Jeremy Granade has a great post on his blog Soccerworld about Chelsea becoming the next Real Madrid – a team dumping their low profile talent in favour of “names”. I haven’t heard the rumour about Roberto Carlos going to Chelsea, but if that is true, Granade’s argument is even stronger – Carlos is definitely past his best before date.
As an Arsenal fan, all I can say is that I hope Granade is right.
