What’s a Canadian Arsenal fan to do? Instead of carrying the Arsenal vs. Newcastle game, Sportsnet is showing ManU vs. Sheffield. I guess when ManU plays you gotta show the game. But TSN is really pissing me off by carrying the Moscow vs. Porto Champions League match on Tuesday ahead of Hamburg vs. Arsenal. You guys are practically driving me to Fox!
Okay, Just when my whining about Sportsnet carrying the ManU vs. Sheffield match instead of Arsenal vs Newcastle was reaching a zenith, Sheffield pulls a shocker and scores the opening goal – and a cracker by Keith Gillespie at that. Maybe this won’t be so bad. Watching ManU lose is almost as satisfying as watching Arsenal win.
UPDATE: As it turns out, it was a crappy day on both fronts – Sheffield didn’t pull off an upset with ManU pulling out a 2-1 win AND Arsenal failing to beat Newcastle (1-1).
