More U20 World Cup Teams
North Korea, South Korea, Japan and Jordan have all secured places at next summers FIFA U20 World Cup in Canada. North Korea emerged on top at the AFC Youth Championship in India, defeating Japan 5-3 on penalties.
North and South Korea, Japan and Jordan join UEFA representatives Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland and Scotland as well as host country Canada at the U20 World Cup June 30 – July 22nd, 2007. OFC, CONMEBOL, CONCACAF and CAF representatives will be decided at their respective division tournaments in January and February of 2007.
