The Gunners Misfire
Normally a goal for Canadian international striker Tomasz Radzinski would make me quite happy, but for the love of Dennis Bergkamp please make this horror show of a season end! Arsenal losing 2-1 to Fulham? And getting 7 cards in the process? Wow. I can’t even blame the loss on Adebayor, an unused sub for Wenger.
During the course of the season last year I kept thinking that 05/06 was the rebuilding season. But I am now suspecting that 06/07 is really the season of reconstruction for Arsenal.
Ah well, at least I can console myself with the fact that Bolton and Aston Villa both blew it and Portsmouth walked out of Anfield with only a single point instead of three. Still, it’s a sad day when an Arsenal fan has to resign himself to the fact that they haven’t lost ground in the race for third place.
