Edgar Davids returns to Ajax
Edgar Davids will not be following David Beckham to the US. Rumors were that Davids might be leaving Tottenham Hotspur to join FC Dallas of the MLS. Instead, Davids is returning to the club he left a decade, AFC Ajax.
The 33 year old Dutch midfielder was part of the Ajax side that won the 1995 UEFA Champions League and has played at some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including AC Milan, Juventus, FC Barcelona and FC Internazionale Milano.
Because Davids has already played with Spurs in the UEFA Cup, he will be unavailable to the club in their upcoming UEFA Cup battle with Werder Bremen.
