Ronaldo on The Simpsons this weekend
Ronaldo is going to appear on The Simpsons this weekend, which makes me think that someone on The Simpsons staff has to be a fan of soccer. I mean, if you are going to have a soccer player on a mainstream American television show, it would seem that the obvious choice would be David Beckham, especially since he is coming to America. However, the producers of The Simpsons have eschewed Becks in favour of (the relatively obscure by mainstream America standards) Ronaldo. This should be fun.
Of course, this isn’t the first time soccer has been “featured” on The Simpsons.
