Edmonton launches U-20 World Cup site

The city of Edmonton has launched a fairly extensive FIFA U-20 World Cup website with information on the 9 matches and teams playing in Edmonton during the tournament. Canadian U-20 (and possible future Portsmouth FC) keeper Asmir Begovic is from Edmonton and posts from time to time on the site.

Thanks for the tip. I was reading an article on the weekend about the lack of promotion in general regarding the tournament. Although the tickets are selling, the typical non-fan doesn’t know about the tournament at all.

Glad to see Edmonton is gearing up. I hope the other cities (and even non-host cities) start as well.
