TSN/Sportsnet to co-broadcast Euro 2008 in Canada

TSN and Sportsnet will both be carrying selected Euro 2008 games, providing virtually full coverage of the tournament for the month of June. I say virtually because there is one day when Sportsnet is splitting the feed between East and West. On June 15th, Sportsnet Ontario & East will show Switzerland vs. Portugal, while Sportsnet West 7 Pacific will show Turkey vs. Czech Republic. Although I am sure there will be numerous rebroadcasts so the games shouldn’t be too hard to find.

The final will be carried by TSN on June 29th.

The full listing from the TSN website.

Thanks. have you learned who will be providing the feed? During the Champions League final I got the sense ESPN was providing the feed to Canada. Hopefully they are redistributing a UK feed. I much prefer the understated UK announcers.

Thank goodness that split feed game doesn’t involve the Netherlands :-)

I contacted TSN and they replied that they will be using the international pool feed for EURO. No ESPN – yaaay!!!!!
