David Edgar to Burnley?

November 27, 2008 update: I am on crack. As noted by Keepie-Uppie in the comments section, I am mixing Championship sides Burnley’s and Barnsley’s.

Maybe it is because another Burnley Canuck Iain Hume has been in the news so much lately that interest in both Burnley and Canadian soccer players is fueling rumors and speculation. (Silly rabbit – Hume plays for Barnsley). Then again, maybe there is some truth to the rumor that Newcastle defender David Edgar might be off to Burnley. Loan deadline is tomorrow so we should soon know if this rumor has legs.

Hume is at Barnsley, of course, not Burnley. Does he live in Burnley?

Burnley and Barnsley. Two different clubs entirely. If Edgar lands anywhere he can find more playing time I would be happy for him.
