No Canadian venues for Gold Cup

CONCACAF has unveiled the venues for this summers Gold Cup. Rumours around teh intranets about the possibility of a Canadian venue have turned out to be false.

The 2009 Gold Cup will be spread out over 13 U.S. cities, which may be great to spread the games around for fans, but will no doubt play havoc with the players as they bounce around from venue to venue.

The 13 U.S. cities are L.A., Chicago, Columbus, Phoenix, Seattle, Oakland, Houston, Miami, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas and Washington with the final at Giants stadium in New York.
