Asmir Begovic – Will he or won’t he?
There has been quite a bit of rumour and speculation about the international fate of the as-yet-to-be-capped Canadian keeper Asmir Begovic.
Speculation that he might actually decide to play for Bosnia instead of Canada started swirling last month when the Bosnian coach in a Bosnian paper started tossing Begovic’s name around and linking him with the Bonsian national side.
Immediately Canuck footie fans began to imagine the worst. Would Begovic, Canada’s former U20 keeper, fill in the trifecta defecta comprised of Owen Hargreaves and Jonathan De Guzman?
